Yes!He is mighty and all-powerful. Some children would love to picture Him as their superhero.
P. S: Some adults with hyper sensitive minds too. LOL!
He had power and this power could do anything.
Just like the way, the ‘woke’ generation see submission as weakness, they interpreted Jesus’ submission as weakness.
Im talking about when He was led to be crucified. He did not utter a word back at them or shove them away with his laser eyes as Superman would have done. He quietly followed them.
That right there, is true power!
“He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.”
Isaiah 53:7 NIV
He also performed mighty miracles. He healed the blind, sick, delivered the oppressed and a lot more miracles.
To cap it all, He gave this power to as many that will believe and accept Him.
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name“
John 1:12 KJV
So this Christmas season, carry the consciousness that you have power. That same power that resurrected Jesus resides in you. You have the Holy Spirit in you when you receive Christ. This means you have so much power on your inside.
.If you have not accepted Christ yet, you can’t have access to this power. You have to genuinely repent and forsake whatever sin you’ve committed. Confess your sins to GOD. Believe in Jesus’ power to save you from your sins and ask Him to help you forsake them. Just say this prayer:
“Father I acknowledge that I am a sinner, that Jesus died for me, that you raised him from the dead. Father please forgive me. I accept Jesus today as my Lord and my Saviour. I choose to walk in The Way. Amen.”
It’s that simple! Now you need to join a Bible believing church. This is to ensure that you are nurtured rightly. Also, you need to get baptized with water as a public show that you’re now with Jesus. You also need to be baptized in the Holy Ghost.
