Faith has a friend named Tory that she really loves. She had stayed with Tory, eaten from the same plate, done pretty much everything close friends do. As a result, she had become so used to being with Tory. Tory could not always be with her though. Tory was a Nursing student so she had to be at the hospital every now and then. Faith would have loved to have Tory by her side 24/7 but that was impossible as Tory was not omnipresent.

Have you ever wanted to be with your very close friend everytime ?

It was prophesied that the Son Mary would bear will be called Immanuel. Immanuel means “GOD with us.” Which implies that everywhere and everytime, GOD will be present with us.

We can see and experience this dimension because we have the Holy Spirit. When Immanuel had walked the surface of this earth and it was time to go, He promised His disciples to send a Helper. This Helper happened to be the Holy Spirit which we receive on accepting Christ into our lives.

“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever.”

John 14:16 AMP

With Him in us, GOD is always present in every situation. When we’re happy or sad, sick or in health, in our highs and lows; He is always present with us.

So this Christmas carry the consciousness that GOD IS WITH YOU and guess what! He promised to never leave you.

“For He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!”

Hebrews 13:5b AMP

If you haven’t accepted Christ yet, you don’t have the Holy Spirit. You have to genuinely repent and forsake whatever sin you’ve committed. Confess your sins to GOD and ask Him to help you forsake them. Just say this prayer :“Father I acknowledge that I am a sinner, that Jesus died for me, that you raised him from the dead. Father please forgive me. I accept Jesus today as my Lord and my Saviour. I choose to walk in The Way. Amen. ”

It’s that simple! Now you need to join a Bible believing church. This is to ensure that you are nurtured rightly. Also, you need to get baptized with water as a public show that you’re now with Jesus. You also need to be baptized in the Holy Ghost.
