Have you ever been walking down the street? Probably just taking a stroll and someone walks up to you, telling you that what you have on is going to take you straight to hell!

How did you feel?

P. S: That question is not rhetorical. I really want to know so please send an email to gloryinspires2018@gmail.com or drop your story in the comment section.

A lot of people feel like the Gospel is about telling people what to wear, what not to wear, how to live and all of that. The Gospel is not about not wearing earrings, trousers or wearing them. It is not about wearing makeup or curling your hair. It’s not about attending particular church denominations because they’re the ‘ordained of the Lord‘ and the others are just jara. Far from it.

Humanity was disconnected from GOD as a result of sin. GOD wanted to resolve and bridge the gap that had been created. In order to do this, blood was the only payment for sin. Not just any blood, but ‘clean blood‘ so to speak.

Almost everything is cleansed by blood, according to the Law’s regulations, and there is no forgiveness without blood being shed.

Hebrews 9:22 CEB

This led to Him sending His only Son – JESUS to die for us and now we are reconciled to GOD(Jn. 3:16) .The Gospel is simply about how Christ came, died for us and resurrected and therein lies our victory.

The light of God’s love shined within us when he sent his matchless Son into the world so that we might live through him. This is love: He loved us long before we loved him . It was his love, not ours. He proved it by sending his Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins.

1 John 4:9-10 TPT

That is the Gospel! So, if you’re one of those who go around dictating what people should do and not do in the name of ‘Gospel’, you should desist from it. Point people to Christ and not your denomination. Point people to the real Gospel – the good news about Christ, what he has done and how we receive it all through faith and genuine repentance from our sins. (Eph. 2:8)

The Gospel is the Power of God to save man.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Romans 1:16

Well said ….the Gospel is so simple that most times you need someone to confuse you..Jesus Christ is everything…In Him,through Him…Therein lies our victory..

Although what we can’t downplay how/what we put on, our places of worship(not all places of worship is spiritually healthy)…..

however the truth remain Christ is the foundation of our faith; our knowledge of what He has done and our response to what He did

This has been explained in simple terms. Point people to God and not to the do’s and don’t. With the Spirit in their hearts, i believe they will know what to do and what not to do.

An excellent read indeed. In the end, it isn’t about what church we attended but the fact that we are raptured alongside those who who won over into the kingdom of God. Populating the kingdom of God is the priority and when we are come to the unity of that, soul winning will be for Christ and not just for denominational group!

I look forward to your next post!

The Gospel simply is “the message of Christ”, nothing more nothing less.

However, there is the God kind of life or God consciousness after salvation and it entails what we do, say, wear, uphold or propagate. All of which should be out of love and reverential fear for God. It ought to be what he would approve of, so anything short of that doesn’t speak well of the gospel we have received because through the gospel we become living witnesses and ought to be living Epistles.

Thanks so much for sharing GG.., More grace to impact 🙇🏼‍♂️

The Gospel is simply spreading the goodnews of God’s love and Christ’s death for sinners out there, making them understand the reality of heaven and hell .
    Anything outside this is doctrinal.

    Nice write up Glo.
