When Flora was younger, her parents disapproved of almost everything she did. They never seemed to be satisfied with her grades or her stature, nothing she ever did thrilled them. Being the second child of three, they would compare her with her siblings and even her neighbours. There was one time, her Mom said to her, “why cant you be like Joyce who lives next-door? She just got a scholarship! Does she have two heads?” Her siblings only just seemed to add salt to her injuries. They mocked her every single time, she felt alone. This really broke Flora and she grew up feeling unloved and unwanted. Are you like Flora? Do you feel unloved? Did you have a dreaded childhood?
LOVE is the most misunderstood word with several meanings. In this post, love isn’t a red heart (♥️) but in this post, GOD is Love (1 Jn 4:8). Do meditate on this truth. He is Love! GOD loved us to the extent that He sent His Son to die for us. Isn’t this something reckless? His Love is more powerful than your past, your hurt, your bitterness, your pain. They said you weren’t enough. Oh Well, today I tell you that He thinks you are unique just the way you are!
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

When Jesus ascended into heaven, He sent us the Holy Ghost who spreads God’s love in our hearts to banish any hurt, pain or scar…
Love (God) has the power to heal that scar , heal that hurt and mend that relationship . All you have to do is receive Love. It will set your heart free. Let Love fill your heart today and you’ll be amazed at what He will do.
