If you didn’t read my last post on Identity Crisis, click here

Whenever you get a gadget from a mall or store, there’s always an instruction manual or guide from the manufacturer on how to use that gadget and what that gadget was made for exactly yeah?

Well it’s the same for humans. For you to know your Identity — who you are, you need to trace your steps back to your Creator.

For many people, they define themselves based on their early experiences in life — their past. They let their past mistakes, hurts and experiences affect how they live their lives. They end up living a lie that eventually becomes their reality.

  • You should not live in your past nor let it define you. Move on !

God already had those people in His thoughts from the beginning. He decided that they should become like his Son. So then, his Son would have many younger brothers and sisters.”

ROM. 8:29 EASY

You have your identity in Christ! Not what the world says, not your past, but in Christ.

  • See yourself through God’s eyes: Always look at yourself as God sees you. (Jer. 1:5) You’ve been approved of long before you were born so see yourself as good and don’t compare yourself with others. Everyone has their flaws, faults and weaknesses. You aren’t like them though. You are uniquely different. You are God’s masterpiece!

“Now is the time to stop pretending to be someone else and be who you really are. God will never anoint you to be someone you’re not.”

JOYCE MEYER
  • Don’t let what others say about you define you: Truth is, people will always have something to say. So you should learn to cope with criticism. As long as you stand out, people will criticize you. It’s your duty to not take those things to heart or let them haunt you.

Conclusion

I hope this blessed you. Do well to share this post and share your views in the comment section too.
