“I have the right to do anything”, you say – but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything” – but not everything is constructive.”
-Apostle Paul
Hey guys! It’s me again. So in my previous post I mentioned suggesting some inspiring music artistes you should listen to. By the way, thanks for your feedback on my last post. You all are the best! So I’m going to be listing some artistes you should add to your playlist. Before then, let’s have small talk . There has always been arguments about the kind of music to be listened to and I’m not about to start one. LOL!
Some say these songs aren’t good, others say “I don’t see anything wrong in listening to this song” . I would say any song that isn’t adding anything beneficial to you, isn’t worth wasting your precious time on. Whenever you’re listening to a song, ask yourself these questions : Why am I listening to this song? What are the lyrics really saying? What is this song doing to me? We see in 1 Cor. 10:23 that even though all things are permitted, it doesn’t mean you have to do them ; especially if they aren’t constructing your character or edifying those around you. So you judge for yourself what kind of music you should listen to. Below are some of my favourite artistes and I’ll like to share them with you:
- Jonathan McReynolds
- Theophilus Sunday
- Judikay
- Travis Greene
- Steffany Gretzinger
- Dunsin Oyekan
- Lauren Daigle
- Pastor Chris Delvan
- Hillsong
- Mercy Chinwo
- Lawrence Oyor
- Jeremy Camp
- Bethel Music
- TY Bello
So there you have it! Feel free to check out their songs. Thank you for reading and please, don’t forget to share if you were blessed. Remember : the devil also has good tunes so, be mindful of the songs you listen to! Contributions, questions?
